Striker Luke Beckett struck twice as Gainsborough Trinity beat King's Lynn 2-0 in the Blue Square North on Friday.
Beckett put Trinity ahead in first-half stoppage time at the Northolme, heading home Gareth Davies' cross.
His sixth goal in four games came 10 minutes after the break when he steered in a shot from Ryan Mallon.
Manager Steve Charles told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We didn't put much into the box but when we did Luke was in the right place at the right time."
Charles added: "I don't think we had a good start but we did slowly get into it and obviously goals change games.

"It wasn't a fantastic performance but it's nice for the home fans to see a win."
Beckett admitted: "It could have gone either way but the goal just before half-time put us in the ascendancy.
"Until we scored the second they always had a chance of getting back in but that killed the game off."
