Worcester City defender Shabir Khan says he is enjoying playing as a wing-back in manager Richard Dryden's new-look 5-3-2 formation.
The 23-year-old was born in Worcester and came through City's youth academy.
"I'm not sure I should be having rave reviews, but I have managed to play every game this season," he told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
"It's going well so far for me, and hopefully we can start to get some better results."
Khan says he enjoys getting forward and has been given a bit more freedom of late:
"I'm not an out and out winger, but I do enjoy getting up and and down and this wing-back position lets me get forward."
Khan also says he and fellow wing-back Graham Ward have a good understanding:
"We do form a good partnership, when I get forward he tends to come across and cover and vice-versa."
Worcester City take on Newport County at St. George's Lane on New Years Day and there will be live coverage of the game on BBC Hereford and Worcester.
