Weston-super-Mare have sacked manager Tony Ricketts.
Ricketts took charge of the Blue Square South side in the summer of 2007 but leaves the Seagulls after a run of one win in their last nine games.
Weston's player-assistant manager Andy Gurney has been appointed caretaker boss while the club search for a permanent replacement for Ricketts.
Gurney is in his third spell at the Woodspring Stadium after two stints as a Weston player in 2006/07 and 2007/08.
He has been invited to apply for the vacant manager's post.
