Whild and Matt Clarke are looking to build on their solid start to the season
Redditch United manager Gary Whild says his players have to be targeting three points against struggling clubs like Saturday's visitors Burscough.
The Reds boss told BBC Hereford and Worcester he would be disappointed were they not to take all three points.
"I have said to the lads that if you get to where you have been then the results should look after themselves.
"They have been putting in some tremendous performances consistently over a period of time," he said.
The Reds came through their FA Trophy replay 2-0 at Cammell Laird and will now face a trip to Alfreton Town in the first round proper.
Whild says the Trophy is an important competition to clubs at Blue Square North level and he is confident his squad can compete on both fronts.
"The FA Trophy is always one of your priorities before the season starts," he said. "To have a run takes the pressure off you where you would be playing league games every week.
"It's a nice change for the lads and I'm sure that after Tuesday's win they will be confident going into Saturday," he added.
Whild confirmed that striker Anthony Robinson has severed his connections with the club after making only one appearance.
BBC Hereford and Worcester will carry updates on the Reds' progress in the home game with Burscough on air and online in Sport on Saturday from 1400 GMT.
