Robinson started just once for Mansfield this season
Redditch United manager Gary Whild has praised recent signing Anthony Robinson's ability.
Whild bought in the former Mansfield and Kettering striker for Tuesday's 2-2 league draw with Alfreton.
Whild told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "He needs a bit of desire to put the ball in the net, but he's got everything else."
Robinson has already been on Worcester and Mansfield's books this season, but made only one start for the Stags.
Robinson had spent much of last season at Tamworth before helping Kettering Town secure their place in non-League football's top tier.
Whild believes he will add to a good squad:
"We've got a good set of lads at the moment and they are working hard for each other.
"You look at our results and that's come about because of the amount of effort they have put in."
Whild had a clearout just over a month ago with five players leaving, and since then they have gone on a run that has taken them into the top half of the table.
The Reds take on Hinckley on Saturday at 1500 GMT, and Whild says they are looking for revenge for a recent 4-2 away defeat.
"I'm sure there will be a bit of extra spice, and they are another team who are up there."
There will be coverage of the Redditch United v Hinckley United match on BBC Hereford and Worcester in Sport on Saturday.
