Rob Smith now switches his attention to Saturday's Cup date with Southend
Telford manager Rob Smith hailed his side's 4-3 Setanta Shield win over Cambridge their "best of the season."
Danny Carey-Bertram, Carl Rogers and two Terry Fearns (2) earned victory for the Bucks, who also hit the post twice.
"What an outstanding performance," Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire. "I thought we were awesome.
"They put in a real shift for me and I'm proud of all of them," he added - admitting to a selection headache for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Southend.
Following last week's FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay win over Northwich Victoria, it was Telford's second Blue Square Premier scalp in eight days.
And that could augur well for their chances on Saturday of going a step or two better by beating League One Southend (1500 GMT).
