Julian Joachim scored twice as King's Lynn secured a convincing win over Solihull Moors in Blue Square North.
The former Aston Villa forward was restored to the starting line-up and scored in each half, either side of Jack Defty's converted penalty.
But Defty is now now facing a suspension after getting sent off for a two-footed tackle on Carl Mottram.
New Lynn signing Bradley Thomas impressed but was withdrawn after picking up a suspected Achilles injury.

King's Lynn manager Keith Webb told BBC Radio Norfolk that he wants to see more similar displays from Joachim.
"Both goals he scored were quality goals, we know he has that pedigree in him to do that," Webb said.
"It's important now that he carries that forward and continues in that vein."
