Harrogate Railway have appointed Phil Sharpe as their new manager.

The Unibond League club have moved quickly to find a replacement for Dave Morgan, who resigned last week after a poor start to the season.

Sharpe has previously been in charge at Bradford Park Avenue and been assistant at Northwich Victoria, his first game is at home to Chorley on Saturday.

Railway are second from bottom of the First Division North and are without a win after 11 games.
