North Leigh manager Mark Gee says his team are learning the lessons of playing in a higher division after some inconsistent form.
The West Oxfordshire side have lost five out of eight games since their recent promotion, but Gee told BBC Oxford his players will adapt.
"The biggest question we had was how would they cope with defeat as they weren't used to it last year.
"They have responded well and we are improving as a team."
Gee also says it is too early to judge their current position in the Division One South & West of the Southern League.
"I guess we won't really know where we are going to stand until about 10 to 15 games in. We have played a lot of the teams at the top."
