Redditch United grabbed a point thanks to a late strike from their captain Lee Downes in a six-goal Blue Square North thriller at Stalybridge Celtic.
The Reds, who have never beaten Stalybridge, looked on course to end that sequence when they went two up in 25 minutes through debutant Mark Rawle.
Celtic hit back with three in the first 20 minutes of the second-half through Andy Sharpe and two-goal Steve Torpey.
But Downes curled home a free-kick 10 minutes from time to share the spoils.
The point leaves Gary Whild's much-changed Reds, who got rid of five players on Thursday, three points clear of the relegation zone.
