Four-week ban for Warriors prop

Chris Horsman
Horsman should be able to play against Sale on 14 November

Worcester Warriors prop Chris Horsman has been banned for four weeks after pleading guilty to stamping on Harlequins prop Mike Ross.

The Wales international received his punishment from a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel on Thursday.

The incident occurred during Worcester's 30-23 Premiership loss on 2 October but Horsman's suspension runs from 6 October when he was cited.

It means the 31-year-old will be able to play again on 3 November.

Worcester had suspended the prop for two weeks and fined him 2,000 earlier this week.

Horsman made just four appearances last season because of a serious arm injury.
