Hinckley United have ended their their unbeaten run in the Blue Square North this season with a 1-0 defeat at home to Stalybridge.

Lee Ellington put the visitors ahead at the Marston Stadium on the stroke of 35 minutes on Saturday.

The defeat means Hinckley drop to fifth in the league table.

The Knitters face Solihull Moors in their second round FA Cup qualifier on Saturday with their next league game against Burscough at home on 4 October.
