Maidstone United and Dover Athletic are just two wins away from the first round of the FA Cup after they both won their second qualifying round ties.

Ben Lewis scored Maidstone's winner three minutes into injury time as they beat Fisher Athletic 3-2.

Dover won 3-1 at home to Needham Market but Bromley, Dartford, Folkestone and VCD were knocked out.

Welling United were held to a 1-1 draw by Ryman league Whyteleaf while Thamesmead drew 1-1 at Merstham.

Bromley were knocked out after losing 1-0 at home to lower league Hornchurch.

Dartford missed a number of chances as they lost 1-0 at home to Blue Square South side Hampton & Richmond.

Folkestone went down 2-1 at home to Horsham and the Kent League's VCD Athletic's run ended after a 3-0 defeat to East Thurrock.

Meanwhile in the Ryman League Ramsgate lost 4-1 at home to Tooting, Sittingbourne scored late to win 2-1 at Walton and Hersham & Ashford beat the Metropolitan Police 2-1.

But Whitstable remain bottom of the Ryman First Division South after a 1-0 defeat to Leatherhead.

Holmesdale's 2-1 win over Sevenoaks Town means they remain top of the Kent League.
