Crawley defender Glenn Wilson smashed in a late goal to deny Stevenage their first win of the season as the visitors snatched a draw at Broadhall Way.
The hosts looked on course for victory thanks to Mitchell Cole's fine strike.
Steve Morison then shot wide from six yards, before Crawley striker Danny Forrest hit the bar from close range.
However, Wilson took advantage of some poor defending to hammer in from close range and leave the hosts rooted to the bottom of the table.
