Weston-super-Mare have completed the signing of free-agent central defender Cedric Abraham.

Abraham, 26, has moved to the Woodspring Stadium, despite spending pre-season on trial with Halesowen.

The Frenchman joins a Seagulls side who have won both of their opening two Blue Square South fixtures this season.

Abraham has played for Chesham United and Swindon Supermarine since moving to England, having represented Bordeaux, Bastia and Toulouse in his homeland.
