We are still learning - Joachim

King's Lynn scorer Julian Joachim admits he and his side are learning their trade at Blue Square North level after their 1-1 draw with Redditch.

The ex-Aston Villa man headed his first goal for newly-promoted Lynn (41) before Lee Downes levelled (67).

He told BBC Radio Norfolk: "We don't know a lot about the Conference North teams yet and it's new to me as well.

"We controlled [the game] from the start, set a good tempo, and the main thing is we're still unbeaten."

He continued: "We put Redditch on the back foot, and we created quite a few chances but unfortunately we couldn't get a second goal.

"We've been in front in both games but the downfall is, we've conceded goals that is obviously what we've got to stop. Or score more goals."

The Lynn fans turned out in force for their first home game at Conference level. Almost 1200 were at The Walks - well above the club's usual average for a midweek game in August.

Their next game is at home to recently relegated Droylsden on Saturday.
