Bath City have signed former Bristol City defender Martin Slocombe on a one-year contract.

Slocombe, 19, has agreed a deal at Twerton Park, after earlier in the summer being linked with a switch to League Two outfit Exeter.

"He's a great talent and it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up back in the [Football] League," manager John Relish told the Bath Evening Chronicle.

The Romans' final pre-season fixture is at home to Salisbury City on Saturday.
