A consortium of Worcester City shareholders bidding to take control of the Blue Square South club is to hold an open forum for fans on 4 July.

They will outline why they have called for an EGM and will answer questions on their future plans for the club.

The meeting will be held at 7.30pm at Worcestershire County Cricket Club's New Road ground.

Current City chairman Dave Boddy has declined to comment until after a board meeting early next week.
