Worcester City's would-be directors

A seven-strong consortium is aiming to replace the current board of Blue Square South club Worcester City.

Derek Jones is one of three former club directors calling for an extraordinary general meeting at St George's Lane.

"I would like to think that we are financially more astute as we have run our own businesses," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We know there are other people willing to join us on the board who have even more financial clout than we have."
