Exeter City's players and officials will tour the city centre on Saturday to celebrate their promotion back to the Football League.

The Grecians beat Cambridge United 1-0 at Wembley on Sunday, to end a five year run in non-league football.

The bus carrying the players and management will leave St James Park at 1030 BST, before travelling down Sidwell Street and High Street.

They will stop at the Guildhall for a reception with the Lord Mayor.

"The result was great for the football club, great for the city and great for everyone concerned," Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Paul Smith said.

Following the short reception, the bus will return to St James Park via the High Street and Sidwell Street.

A party will then take place at the ground, with players available to have their pictures taken and sign autographs.
