Barrow AFC co-boss Dave Bayliss has admitted they had always targeted the play-offs after booking their place with Saturday's win against Worcester.
The Bluebirds were 20th in December but under Bayliss and co-boss Darren Sheridan the club finished fifth and will face Telford in the semi-finals.
"We said in the first meeting we're pushing for the play-offs," Bayliss told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"The fans came and it's our job to make sure they come on a regular basis."

Chairman Brian Keen was delighted with the pair's work at Holker Street, having backed Bayliss and Sheridan to take on the job back in December.
"It's fabulous, I'm speechless. It's unbelievable, nothing more than we deserve," he said.
"Those two gentleman [Bayliss and Sheridan] have done a great job and this is a real time for Barrow."
BBC Radio Cumbria are offering full-match commentary on both the home and away legs of Barrow's play-off semi-final with Telford United AFC on Wednesday 30 April and Sunday 4 May.
