Barrow co-boss Dave Bayliss has told his players to forget talk of promotion until a Blue Square North play-off place has been secured.
The Bluebirds are the division's form team with six wins from six games but Bayliss wants his team to concentrate on each fixture as it comes.
"Our intention was always to just win our games," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"Because we're doing so well we're a scalp for other teams. We've got to keep focused."
Promotion would be a grand achievement for Bayliss and his colleague Darren Sheridan who only took over at Holker Street in December 2007.
We can't start planning until we know what division we'll be in next year.

One possible obstacle for the Bluebirds to overcome would be meeting the financial stipulations put in place but the former Rochdale defender is happy to concentrate on matters on the pitch.
"It'd be a good problem to be faced with," said Bayliss. "But we're just keeping our heads down," he said.
"We've just got to keep focused on what we're trying to. If we do manage to go up then fantastic.
