Worcester City manager Richard Dryden has moved to quell concerns over next season's playing budget.
Dryden says this season's budget was reduced when City could no longer make the Blue Square North play-offs, but he remains positive about next season.
"Maybe I wasn't as clear as I could have been," the City boss told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"The budget has been reduced for next season, but not radically, so we should be competitive," he added.
