Worcester City could have few complaints after they went down 1-0 in their Blue Square North match at Workington.

City were indebted to goalkeeper Chris Sanna who turned a fierce first-half drive onto the crossbar as the home side looked the more likely to score.

On-loan centre-half Dan Kirkup broke the deadlock for the Reds on 56 minutes when he headed home from close range.

City will again be in Cumbria on Saturday when they will head to Barrow.
