Danks was City's top scorer last season

Worcester City returned to winning ways in Blue Square North with a 1-0 victory at already-relegated Leigh RMI.

Striker Mark Danks converted a 21st-minute penalty after a Leigh defender was adjudged to have pushed a City player inside the area.

City will round off their season with two long-distance away trips to Cumbrians Workington and Barrow.

The victory lifts City above local rivals Redditch United into 12th place after the Reds drew 0-0 at Alfreton.
