Edmondson eyes a bright future for the Reds' young squad
Workington boss Darren Edmondson has urged his players to lay the foundations for next season with a strong end to this year's campaign.
"I don't want the season to peter out," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"I've learned a lot about the players and for the last four games I want them to pick up four wins to prove that they are good enough.
"We want points for pride basically and we want some improved performances in front of our fans."

Last season the Reds reached the play-offs but injuries have limited Edmondson's selection this term and the former York City defender has preached continuity.
"I've learned a lot about the players this season," he said.
"Last year we punched above our weight. We'll be looking to not have the injuries we had this year, get the confidence in a young squad and get them believing in themselves."
