Harrogate Town warmed up for Saturday's trip to Telford with a 6-0 win over Bradford Park Avenue in Wednesday's West Riding County Cup Final.
First-half goals from Roy Hunter, Chris Bettney were followed up by four second-half strikes from in-form forward Danny Holland.
Town boss Neil Aspin felt Holland's four-goal haul was very timely.
"It'll do him good for the run-in, he's obviously a big player for us," Aspin told BBC Radio York.
"It was nice for once to see a few goals going in and to actually watch and enjoy the last 30 minutes of the game."
They gave the wrong medals out. We ended up not getting our medals

The only blemish on the night for Harrogate was an ankle injury to midfielder Lee Whittington.
Fourth-placed Town now face some crucial Blue Square North games, starting with Saturday's trip to third-placed AFC Telford United.
"We're desperate to get into the play-offs and there's pressure on because there's lots of teams vying for those spots so we know it's not going to be easy.
"We're in there. It's a credit to the players. When you've had a good start (to the season), if you don't get into the play-offs they think you've failed.
"I said at the start of the season I felt the players were over-achieving, and they've done tremendously well to keep Harrogate up there all season and they deserve to finish in the play-offs."
Aspin is worried that Barrow's late run might cause Town to miss out on the play-offs for the second season running.
"The way that Barrow have come up with all those wins, you feel they could finish with 78 points which is a massive total that you might have to get to reach the play-offs, so I know there's a lot of work to be done yet."
Harrogate now have some silverware in the trophy cabinet but the players left Woodlesford empty-handed on Wednesday.
"They gave the wrong medals out. They gave the winners medals to Bradford and we ended up not getting our medals," said Aspin.
