Neil Aspin's Harrogate side are fourth with just four games to play
Harrogate Town boss Neil Aspin praised striker Danny Holland after he scored a vital equaliser against Hinckley.
Holland climbed off the bench to earn Harrogate a 1-1 draw and improve their Blue Square North play-off chances.
Aspin said the point had moved Town "a step closer" after most of their rivals dropped points, and hailed Holland.
He told BBC Radio York: "I decided to bring Danny [Holland] on at half-time, we needed more strength up front, and he scored the equaliser."
Holland has struggled to reproduce his superb early-season scoring run, and lost his place in the starting 11 as a consequence.
But Aspin felt the time was right to give him a run-out.
"He's obviously missed a couple of games and I felt it was ready for him," Aspin said.
"He came on as sub last week and worked hard. He did well in the second half and took his goal well."
I wouldn't like to lose any games at this stage with only four games left

The result left Town fourth in the table with four games to go, but could be overtaken by three teams if they slip up.
And Aspin was annoyed at the early goal they let in against Hinckley.
"We give players men to mark off set-pieces and obviously we've just gone to sleep, it's a poor goal," he said.
"When you're struggling at home and concede after four minutes it makes it very difficult."
A trip to play-off rivals AFC Telford awaits Town on Saturday and Aspin added: "It's a big game.
"These are the games you want to be playing in. It's much better to be going where there's going to be over 2,000 people than playing in front of 200."
Town have a game in hand over Telford and Stalybridge above them, but Aspin is more concerned with the chasing pack of Nuneaton, Southport and Barrow, any two of whom could scupper his side's play-off hopes.
"It isn't going to be easy, they'll be desperate to beat us. I wouldn't like to lose any games at this stage with only four games left," he added.
