Worcester City manager Richard Dryden was bitterly disappointed after his side rounded off its home league programme with a defeat.
Gainsborough Trinity left St George's Lane on Saturday with a 1-0 win after Liam Needham's second-half strike.
"It was a very poor performance and we didn't pass it at all today," Dryden told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"It wasn't for the want of trying, but I always thought that one scrappy goal was going to win it."
