A goal in each half helped Redditch United to a 2-0 Blue Square North victory at Burscough.

Liam Daly put the Reds on their way when he netted in the 24th minute and Liam Murray made the points safe with the second 20 minutes after the break.

The kick off was delayed by 15 minutes due to one of the match officials picking up an injury.

The win takes Redditch above county rivals Worcester City into 12th place in the Blue Square North table.
