Captain Steve Jagielka is not ruling out automatic Blue Square North promotion for AFC Telford United this season after another win. Saturday afternoon's 2-1 win over Hyde took the Bucks to within six points of league leaders Kettering.
"Kettering might give us a chance, and it's up to us to take it," Jagielka told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"They're full-time, and top of the table, but they'll be looking over their shoulders at us."
The experienced midfielder scored the clinching goal against Hyde, and afterwards paid tribute to the management team of Rob Smith and Larry Chambers on their second anniversary at Telford.
"They've certainly turned things round, and the club's going forward all the time," he said.
"They have loads of passion and a will to win, and the lads have taken that onto the pitch."
