Truro City manager Dave Leonard says he is looking all over the country for suitable players to bolster his squad. The club are top of the Western Premier League and are hopeful of gaining promotion to the Southern League at the end of the season.
"I've got lots of irons in the fire with professional clubs, semi-pro clubs and amateur clubs," Leonard told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"There are a lot of activities ongoing as of now," he added.
Truro lost the chance to retain the FA Vase after being beaten 3-0 by Whitley Bay in the last 16 last Saturday.
But with the club having spent 10,000 on striker Dean Stamp and making Leonard the full-time manager, Truro are ambitious enough to believe they can continue to climb the league pyramid.

"We want to get as many back-to-back promotions as we can," said Leonard.
"Scouts are out watching. I'll be out watching games in the next week to 10 days."
Truro are aiming to be Cornwall's first professional football team and are currently six points clear at the top of the Western Premier League with a game in hand.
And Leonard is under no illusions as to what the club's short-term aims are.
"We need to finish top of this division and get our ground grading up to scratch if we're to get the promotion that we're looking for," he added.
