Dodd takes control at Eastleigh

Dodd made 399 league appearances in Southampton's colours

Former Southampton stalwart Jason Dodd has taken over as manager at Conference South strugglers Eastleigh.

Dodd takes over from Paul Doswell, who has moved upstairs into the role of director of football.

The 36-year-old Dodd made 399 League appearances for Saints, and had a short loan spell at Plymouth before ending his League career at Brighton.

Former Southampton team-mates David Hughes and Mark Dennis will continue in their roles as first-team coaches.
