Troubled Conference North side Scarborough's future has been put on hold again, reports BBC Radio York. At a meeting in Leeds, the former Football League club's creditors decided to extend the voluntary agreement by six weeks.
That allows the club to pay them back what they are owed at an agreed rate.
It's also hoped that by 12 January the Borough Council will decide whether a covenant stopping the McCain stadium being sold to developers can be lifted.
Fans have launched an online petition to ask the council to lift the covenant, so the stadium can be sold, an new one built and the club's debts paid off.
