Qualification for the U17 World Cup is at stake when Egypt meet Burkina Faso at the African U17 Championship in Rwanda on Friday.
Semi-finalists in the African competition earn a place at the global showpiece in Mexico later this year.
The hosts are already sure of a place in the last four so Egypt against Burkina Faso is effectively a play-off.
Both teams have three points from their two Group A games so far, but the Burkinabe lead the way on goals scored.
That means Egypt need a win to overhaul their rivals and go through, while a draw in Kigali will be enough for Burkina Faso.
"We know that we have no chance to qualify except winning against Burkina," Egypt assistant coach Tamir Abdel Hamed told the BBC.
But his opponents are equally determined, according to their assistant coach Pedro Lima.
"We want to qualify Burkina Faso for Mexico 2011 - I'm sure we will do that. The whole country wants that and we are going to play to win," he said.
The game between Rwanda and Senegal is without such drama.
Senegal have no chance of qualifying for the last four while Rwanda are already through.
The semi-finalists from Group B will be decided on Saturday.
