South Africans fans thronged the Sinaba Stadium to support their side

Hosts South Africa booked their place in next week's semi-finals of the African Women's Championship after defeating Mali 4-0 on Sunday.

Banyana Banyana had to beat Mali to make it through to the last four and they did so in style in a sold-out Sinaba Stadium.

Two goals from Dlamini Amanda and further strikes from Jermaine Seoposengwe and Amanda Sister sealed the victory for the home side.

South Africa are joined in the last four by Nigeria who beat Tanzania 3-0 to finish Group A with a record of played three, won three, scoring ten times while conceding just the once.

Two goals by the tournament's leading scorer Perpetua Nkwocha and another strike by Ugochi Oparanozie sealed the won for the Super Falcons.

In Monday's matches in Group B, Ghana must beat holders Equatorial Guinea to be able to reach the last four while Cameroon will qualify if draw against Algeria.
