Charles Musonda's sons are following in his footsteps at Anderlecht
Belgian champions Anderlecht have given contracts to two sons of Zambian legend Charles Musonda.
Lamisha, 18, and his 16-year-old brother Tika were signed on two year contracts after being part of the youth set-up at Anderlecht for several years.
They will hope to emulate their father who played for Anderlecht in the 90s.
"The fact that Anderlecht have offered my two eldest sons a contract, shows their appreciation," Musonda said told the club's website.
"They have been guided well at Anderlecht for years now, both with respect to football training and otherwise.
"Moreover, my sons feel like part of the family here at Sporting Anderlecht, where youth training has become a priority."
Musonda, who is now a youth coach at the club, was a member of the Anderlecht side that lost 2-0 to Italian side Sampdoria in the final of the 1990 European Cup Winners Cup.
Meanwhile, Zambia Under-20 coach Keagan Mumba has summoned Lamisha to the team that faces Mauritius in the second leg of the African Under-20 Championship qualifieris.
Zambia beat the Islanders 1-0 in the first fixture but need to build on the result if the Young Chipolopolo are to advance in the qualifiers.
"We don't want to take chances that is why we want to have the strongest team possible," Mumbae said.
If Lamisha accepts the call-up, it will be the first time he will represent Zambia.
