Rwanda v Tanzania
Rwanda (yellow) are through to the final of the Cecafa Senior Challenge

Rwanda beat Tanzania 2-1 to book their place in the final of the Cecafa Senior Challenge, the regional tournament for East and Central Africa.

After a goalless first half, Tanzania went down to 10 men in the 51st minute when Kevin Yondan was sent-off.

Rwanda took the lead on 68 minutes when Ndayishime Yusuf put them ahead and they doubled their lead nine minutes later through captain Mutesa Mafisango.

Tanzania snatched one back in the 78th minute through Hassan Mussa Mgosi.

Rwanda's Kapet Didier was sent off in time added on at the end of the game - and he will miss the final against Uganda.

The final will take place on Sunday and will be preceded by the play-off match between Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Uganda reached the final after beating Zanzibar 2-1 on Wednesday.
