Striker Samuel Eto'o plans to return to Spain at some point and end his career at his former club Real Mallorca.
The Cameroon international, who joined Italian side Inter Milan from Barcelona in the close season, spent three seasons with Mallorca.
"You know me and you know that when I say something that comes from my heart it's true," Eto'o said.
"I hope to end my sporting career at the club that is close to my heart which is Real Mallorca," he added.
Eto'o won the King's Cup with Mallorca in 2003.
He became the club's all-time top scorer in the league with 54 goals before signing for Barca in 2004.
The Cameroon striker moved to Inter as part of the deal that took Zlatan Ibrahimovic the other way.
Eto'o was sent away despite scoring more than 30 goals for the Spanish side last season, including the opener in their Champions League final triumph.
