Coach Paulo Duarte is leading Burkina Faso in the qualifiers
Burkina Faso maintained their perfect record in Group Nine of the World Cup qualifiers thanks to their 4-1 win over Seychelles on Saturday.
The Stallions dominated the early exchanges in Ouagadougou and took the lead on 21 minutes through Charles Kabore.
Mamadou Kere doubled the home side's lead in the 29th minute but the visitors pulled one back just before the break through Saint Ange Bernard.
Burkina Faso continued to dominate after the interval and Issouf Ouattara restored their two-goal lead in the 64th minute.
The Stallions wrapped up victory with just one minute left, with Norway-based Issouf Kone opening his goal account for the game.
The win kept the west Africans at the top of the table with maximum 12 points, three more than second-placed Tunisia, who beat Burundi 2-1 in the group's other game on Saturday.
First half goals from Chaouki Ben Saada and Issam Jomaa helped the Carthage Eagles to win the game in Rades.
Henry Mbazumutima pulled one back for the visitors on the stroke of half-time but Tunisia held on after the interval for the win.
Burkina Faso will seal their place in the next phase of the qualifiers in September if they beat Tunisia at home in the next round of qualifiers.
