Benin thrashed Uganda 4-1 in the 2010 World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers to earn their first points in Group 3.

Razak Omotoyossi scored a brace to help the Squirrels to victory.

The Cranes did take an early lead through Eugene Ssepuuya, but Benin came back in devastating fashion.

Oumar Tchomogo and Stephane Sessegnon were the other scorers.

Angola are now clear leaders in the group after beating Niger 2-1.

Niger took the early lead in Niamey with a Karim Konate strike after just four minutes.

But goals from Flavio Amadeo and Yambat Acha secured the victory for the Palancas Negras.

Angola will travel to Uganda for the next round on World Cup qualifiers on 13-15 June while Niger host Benin.
