Benjani Mwaruwari is targeting the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations

Zimbabwe striker Benjani Mwaruwari feels the Warriors can qualify for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.

The Manchester City player was talking after Zimbabwe earned an unconvincing 1-0 win over Botswana on Wednesday.

"I can assure you no team is going to stop us, we're more than ready for the 2010 Nations Cup," he said.

"What makes us stronger is that the new coach has kept many of the old squad and blended it with younger players from the under-23's."

Brazilian coach Jose 'Valinhos' Claudinei was slightly more cautious.

"This is my second game in charge of Zimbabwe and I am very happy with what I have seen so far, but we still have to rectify our weaker points," he said.

He added that the team is yet to combine well mainly because some of the team is based in neighbouring South Africa while others play in Europe and a few at home in Zimbabwe.
