Nigeria remain at the top of the rankings for Africa |
Mozambique have been this year's surprise 'highest climbers' in the world rankings compiled by Fifa. World football's governing body placed the Mambas in 75th place in their latest list, which leaves the team as the 15th best side in Africa.
The African nation amassed 245 points over the last 12 months, climbing 53 places overall, to claim the 'Best Mover of the Year' title.
Nigeria maintained their place as the highest ranked African team.
The Super Eagles remain in their global position of 20.
Uganda moved up 18 places to sit as the continent's 16th best side.
Equatorial Guinea, meanwhile, dropped 11 places overall and just remain within Africa's top 20 at 19.
