Ghana's Black Stars fall to 8th best team in Africa |
Ghana's slide down Fifa's world rankings has continued with the announcement of the places list for August.
The Black Stars have dropped a further six places, from 37th in the world to 43rd, to add to their 18 place fall in July.
It means they now slip below Tunisia, Egypt and Guinea to become the eighth best side in Africa.
Cameroon are still the continent's best side, but fall one place in the overall global rankings from 15th to 16th place.
Namibia were this month's biggest climbers, moving 12 places from 44th to 32nd, while Burkina Faso also fared well jumping seven places and into the top twenty at 18.
Benin, who were the highest African climbers last month, moving up 18 places to 85th, have continued their ascent moving another 6 places up to 79.
