Togo's Emmanuel Adebayor leads the scoring in the Premier League
Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor says a 'win at all costs' team-spirit within the Arsenal squad is behind the side's great start to the season.

The London-based club are top of the Premier League despite having sold star player and record goal-scorer Thierry Henry during the close season.

The 23-year-old Hawk's striker says his team now has a more ruthless approach to the matches they play.

"It is important for us now to win, even if that means playing ugly.

"Last season we played well in many games but had some poor results - this season it is different.

"We have performed better than many predicted before the season started, but we felt at our pre-season training camp that we had a good side."

Adebayor says that the winning feeling within the squad bodes well for the future also.

"We are doing well in the league again and that just makes the whole squad feel more confident and play better."

Adebayor currently leads the scoring in the Premier League with six goals from six league starts.
