The Group 9 African Cup of Nations qualifiers have been rescheduled |
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has rescheduled the final Nations Cup qualifiers in Group 9 for a second time.
Sierra Leone's home tie against Benin and the game between Togo and Mali in Lome will now be played on 12 October.
The matches had been moved forward from 8 September to 14 October as they clashed with the run-off of Sierra Leone's Presidential election.
But this date coincides with parliamentary elections in Togo.
Caf had decided that the final matches in each group must be played simultaneously.
The latest change to the dates means that two days after hosting Benin, Sierra Leone can now play their 2010 World Cup preliminary game against Guinea Bissau on 14 October.
