Seck won the last of his six caps in 2005 | Senegalese defender Mamadou Seck has been sent back to English league side Sheffield United after a short trial with Scottish premier side St Mirren. The 27-year-old has two years remaining on his contract at Bramall Lane. St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson confirmed: "We will not be taking our interest in defender Mamadou Seck any further." Seck started just two matches for the Blades and it was thought MacPherson could hand him the chance to move to Love Street.
