Diomansy Kamara is tipped for greatness in the premiership |
Senegal's Diomansy Kamara has been tipped to become one of the most dangerous players in English football.
Bryan Robson, manager of English Premiership side West Brom, believes the Senegalese can achieve this if he becomes more clinical in front of goal.
"I think he could turn out to be one of the most dangerous players at this level if he starts to put his chances away," Robson said.
"We are going to start working with him on that. If he can add that to his game he will be really dangerous because he is so quick."
Kamara has created a favourable impression at the club since his US$2.5m move from Italian side Modena, operating as a striker from the left flank.
But the Senegal international has managed just two goals and was guilty of one of the misses of the season when he side-footed wide of an open goal from six yards out during last Saturday's game against Birmingham.
Robson has already put plans into motion to help Kamara - nicknamed "Joey" by his team-mates - to become a better finisher.
"Joey is very dangerous as a forward. He is finding his feet as far as playing regularly in the Premiership goes, but he is only a young lad still learning the game," Robson said.
"There is a fair amount of improvement in him still but if he works on his finishing, he could be a real asset to this football club.
"The opposition are put on the back foot because Joey is so direct and has got such a good balance about him," Robson added.
