Egypt's Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam wants to stay with Spurs |
Egypt's Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam is continuing talks with Tottenham Hotspur about replacing his current loan deal from Roma with a permanent one. Mido's loan deal expires in the summer but Spurs are hopeful of signing the Egyptian on a full-time basis before the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has already told Italian side Roma he has no plans to return to the club.
He wants to helping Jol's side clinch a Champions League place.
"We are not nervous, I am not," said Mido.
"We have to fight for our position, we are in a good one so we have to battle for it.
"The next 11 games will be like cup finals and we have to play strongly - away too.
"That is what will make the difference for us."
