Tunisia suffer home defeat
Tunisia national team
Tunisia will face two European sides at the World Cup

Tunisia were beaten 1-0 by fellow World Cup finalists Serbia and Montenegro in Tunis on Wednesday.

Striker Mateja Kezman headed the only goal of the game after 11 minutes.

The Carthage Eagles went close to an equaliser in the 38th minute when Brazilian-born striker Silva Dos Santos missed from close range.

The Tunisians stepped up their attack in the second half but the Serbian defence, which conceded only one goal in 10 World Cup qualifiers again proved impossible to crack.

Tunisia have been drawn in Group H with Saudi Arabia, Spain and Ukraine.

The 2004 African champions open their World Cup campaign against Saudi Arabia in Munich on 14 June.
